+Isaiah said, “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness.” So one has to be very careful that, by such statements to a brother who cannot understand, and which the one who teaches it himself does not fully understand because he has not yet found the Kingdom, he does not thereby cause that brother to stumble and fall into darkness.

+And did He not spend most of His time going about among the people teaching and preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom, healing all manner of diseases, the lame, the deaf, the blind, the epileptic and the palsied, and casting out demons? And was not almost all of His preaching against the evil He saw everywhere, especially in high places, ever denouncing the Scribes and Pharisees, the representatives in His day who, under the cloak and even in the name of Religion, indulged in their un-Christlike practices, calling them “hypocrites and whited sepulchres” for deceiving the people and teaching them one thing and living another?

+Are the New Thought teachers and their followers wiser and better than our great Master Who gave His life that the world might know the Truth? Did He fear to recognize and denounce evil? Did He hesitate because the religionists claimed that it “showed intolerance” and only “aroused antagonism” and “lent power to the things He denounced”? No, He went everywhere denouncing evil doers, calling the people’s attention to their evil words and acts, crying: “Repent ye, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.”—Not in some far off time or place, but right here now—within themselves.
