+MRS. W., of our Group, told the other evening of a young Man (a stranger) who came to her door. He said he was out of work, despondent and that she might keep his clothes—a bundle he carried—for her boys, as he would not need them any more; that he was sleeping on some man’s garage floor and had nothing to live for.
+She took the clothes, but said to him, “Cheer up! There’s a job right around the corner waiting for you.” She told him to come back and get the clothes when he had found work and the skies were again smiling.
+Two days later he showed up and asked for the clothes with his face beaming. He told her that two jobs had been offered him the next morning after she had told him there was one “right around the corner.” It was there, he said; also that a friend had been called away that very night after he left her, and that he had let him move into his room, the rent for which had been paid for a week.
+Thank God for such Truth declared.
