 +“MANY times during these last few months I have started to write to you and did so several times only to tear up what I had written. Since the last Papers from about No. 50 came, I have really found myself.

 +The laborless way, the Loving One within has shown me, is His way for me. How to see the nothingness of all that affects and disturbs the mind, and how to be freed entirely from personality was hard for me at first, but I do see now that my Christ Self is the only power, and that Self is God in me.

 +“This morning, as I was meditating upon the laborless way, a picture like a movie passed before my eyes. I saw a great army of marchers clad in shadow grey garments, and it seemed to be going as to a war. I saw myself as one of them, and we were all so tired and our bodies were scarcely able to go on.

 +“We finally came to the top of a hill, where we were commanded to stand still, and to turn half way around. We did so and then it seemed as though each one divided into two parts—the shadowy grey part of us then retreated or backed out of the picture, and the other part, robed in the most beautiful white garments, advanced towards the Light.

 +“To me it was a marvelous vision and I know it was given to show me the meaning of just “standing still.” So many have been the tests these last few months, but through all of them I have been seeing God’s will working in and through all. His way becomes beautiful and glorified when one learns to stand aside and let it work out.

 +“It required many experiences to teach me finally that the way I see right before me is the way for me to go, regardless of what others say and do. Since taking a few definite stands,
