+REGARDING “elementals,” I wish to relate an experience of my own, received years ago, I indulged quite freely in alcohol, as I was seemingly under much stress and strain. One night, just as I retired, I was all but overwhelmed by hordes of the most devastating elementals, and my actual destruction appeared imminent. The experience was perfectly horrible—baffles description. I seemed in a veritable sea of evil. My mental anguish appeared unendurable and I was unconsciously worse than physical pain. Then almost in despair, I cried out, “Christ, help me!” Christ, save me!”
+Instantly the demonic entities swiftly receded and I was enveloped in “a mantle of peace.” I was more than grateful for my deliverance and needless to add was brought to the realization that one in the Path must avoid carnal desires in order to gain peace and protection. It seems, moreover, that one engaged in the work of purifying self becomes most sensitive to lower forces.
+I have personally been acquainted with a number of people that became insane while dabbling in Spiritualism and attempting to contact friends in other spheres. The effort to “take the kingdom of heaven by storm” is fraught with peril. My own psychic experiences have invariably been involuntary. I have no desire to consult mediums.
+The experience you describe was truly illuminating in that it proves how Christ is indeed the Saviour and the Light which lighteth us, and when we call upon Him, He so illumines and lifts our consciousness into His Light that we are freed entirely from the things and forces of darkness.
+Try to realize just what our words mean and note how you had a perfect illustration given you of our meaning. Let it aid and guide you whenever visible or invisible forces of a harmful or negative nature assail, for you can be freed from them instantly by calling upon Christ just as you did them.
