+“THE Aspirant or Neophyte stage . . . ‘I will arise and Go.’ This is the stage in which the disciple-to-be feels the first stirrings of his awakening soul as the wonderful truth dawns upon his consciousness that there are heights and depths of realization of which he has never dreamed and now he resolves to arise and go, to seek until he finds that which will satisfy his need though he knows not what it is . . . yet.
+“The disciple on Probation . . . and he arose. The disciple has started on his journey—having carried out his resolve—and started. It is yet to be seen if he will persevere to the end despite the many difficulties he will meet on his journey back to the Father’s House. Until he proves that nothing will weaken his resolve to travel to the end, he is a disciple on probation.
+“An accepted disciple has proved that he is in earnest, that he is truly putting the Kingdom first. Consequently, invisible helpers guide him on his way. He is lovingly guided on his journey. He learns to love the Christ within and to serve Him only and on his journey listens to the voice directing him in service for others. While he was yet a great way off, his Father saw him and ran to meet him, and provided him not only with food and raiment but luxuries.”
+“The journey back to the Father’s House is a mental journey because it means mind control and discipline. The mind is but an instrument for the use of the Higher Self and it must be trained to efficient service, so that it willingly and quickly responds to the command, Be Still. The practice of daily Meditation is very necessary to acquire this. This is necessary also to teach the mind to accept and try to understand, without rebelling against new Truths that are given it. The Greatest need for daily meditations is, however, to acquaint the disciple with the Master Within. He MUST be able to shut the sheep, the wandering, straying sheep of his thoughts securely into the fold and learn to know and recognize the Master’s Voice as surely as did any sheep that ever followed David.” —A. +“I AM the Lord thy God who brought thee out of the land of Egypt. Besides Me there is none else.”
+“When we recognize that our own beloved Christ Being has awakened within and lifted it out of darkness, we are then willing and ready to make the full surrender of self and its claims and ‘Put ye on the Lord, Jesus Christ.’ And as we go through the process of purification and earnestly seek to follow the Christ both the soul and mind consciousness become the blessed, joyous, willing avenues through which our Christ Self lives as He wills and chooses. Then and then only do we begin to realize and know that God is All in all because Christ (Love) has wiped out all darkness of heart its like. And we then see with His Eyes and see only Christ in everyone and in everything. And we KNOW IT IS GOD. Let us be ever mindful to give thanks for this unspeakable gift of Jesus Christ our blessed Saviour and Redeemer Who is ever showing us The Christ Way and teaching us to apply the Christ Way in all we do, think or say.”
