| WE TAKE pleasure in reprinting the following letter dated August, 1932, from the Secretary of a Chamber of Commerce in the State of Washington, addressed as above. We cannot praise enough the thought, the high aim, the courage in bringing before his fellow Secretaries these most potent truths, and we would that they could be sent to the Secretary of every Chamber of Commerce in the United States as well as in other countries. The writer of this letter has a clear vision of what must be, and while there has been some improvement over the conditions manifesting when the letter was written, yet there has not been enough change in the hearts of the people—as evidenced by what has been accomplished by the N.R.A.—to make these truths less potent and less applicable today. | WE TAKE pleasure in reprinting the following letter dated August, 1932, from the Secretary of a Chamber of Commerce in the State of Washington, addressed as above.
