mother love and sensitive emotional nature, is complete unguided by reason and common sense?

This can mean only that within the soul of man—from his inner nature—can he draw forth those qualities which will round out and perfect his outer nature. And this applies equally to woman.

It must be so, because it is the inner or real man or woman the Higher or Divine Self of each, that is directing all, whose life consciousness and nature is ever trying to express itself in its fullness, but is always prevented by the lacks, limitations and imperfections of the outer human nature.

Think on this until you see that the other half of the soul can never be without in some other human personality, but must be within, in the soul itself—in that inner self that is always seeking to draw the consciousness of the outer mind back into oneness with its consciousness. That alone will bring completion—will bring the soul satisfaction and happiness the goal of human life.

Looking at it another way, is not the sex urge for completion then but the yearning of the soul to return to its former bi-sexual state in the Garden of Eden, or the desire of the Prodigal separate consciousness to regain the joys and blessings of its Father’s home—in the One Consciousness?

Does this not then show the foolishness of seeking or expecting to find perfect happiness and soul completion in another human being—in a soulmate that is waiting for you somewhere now or in the future?

Human love and its joys are but glimpses given of the heavenly joys awaiting the union of mind and soul when they have opened their consciousness to Divine Love—the Love of the Higher or Divine Self. When the reasoning mind yields to the loving heart and the unselfish heart waits upon the appreciative mind, one is approaching the Kingdom within and gets a foretaste of what is pure joy.

Therefore that ideal man or woman one unconsciously seeks in the opposite sex can never be found in another, for it exists only in one’s own Divine Self. It is Its desire for perfect expression that alone is felt; but man, misinterpreting that desire
