Above all things, however, we must ever keep in mind that no release can come, either for them or for us, until we as a whole people are ready and able of our own free will to turn from the old methods of selfishness and greed to those of co-operation and brotherhood, both in dealing among ourselves and with other nations.

The old order is doomed and cannot be fostered longer. Any attempts to bolster up the old system that brought about present conditions will be only palliative and can have no lasting results. We are hoping that President Roosevelt knows this and is working to bring about the necessary change gradually, when he is given the full power to do so.

That power will be such as has never been given any other President. It can be wielded either for great good or great evil. That is why we ask your prayers for him, your love and trust in him, so that he will feel your loving support and that of the Great Love and Wisdom of our Father God working through you, and will never be tempted to misuse that power; but will be enabled with it to construct an entirely new economic, business and social state, every part of it cemented together by unselfishness, thoughtfulness for others and a single purpose to have Brotherhood manifest everywhere in the world.
