====== The Inner Life ====== == THE HERALD OF THE NEW AGE | APRIL 1936 == ---- either the Movement failed altogether or it degenerated into a “racket” for the benefit of its leader, and thereby became an instrument used by the enemy to deceive and mislead followers who could still be attracted to it. THE FULLY Accepted Disciples of the Christ Brotherhood now in the world are few in number, but all such are Its true representatives and have Its complete support, guidance and co-operation. This means that the Spirit of Christ wholly rules in each, that they acknowledge Jesus Christ as their Divine Lord and Master, and thereby are open channels through which the Wisdom, Power and Love of the Father, Christ and the Brotherhood flow freely whenever there is a need. All such are always taken care of, all their material as well as spiritual needs are fully supplied; for their work now is that of the Brotherhood, and they live only to do Its Work—and of course the Brotherhood will take care of Its own. Try to realize that we are speaking only of the Christ Brotherhood and of the Disciples of Jesus Christ, and not of the disciples of any other “Masters” or of any other Brotherhood. Naturally there are other Brotherhoods in spirit, as we have indicated in a previous article*, and lesser Masters, Leaders and Teachers who are working under the direction of Christ and have disciples in their respective departments of the world-work of Redemption. But let none mistake. Jesus Christ is the Master of Masters, the King of Kings and the Lord of all Lords, as is shown in another article in this issue. Those who try to make earnest seekers believe otherwise either have not evolved Spiritually enough to understand this great truth, or are deceived and misled. This article on The Resurrection therefore is addressed especially to the followers of Jesus Christ, those to whom He is first and all in their lives, and who seek only to be worthy to serve Him and to become a soldier in His Great Army of Light. These are the ones who at each Easter Ceremony in the inner realms of spirit are advanced into the higher degrees or realms of consciousness they have earned, and in which from then on more of the Christ Spirit—the Light within—shines and illumines their outer lives.
