====== The Inner Life ====== == THE HERALD OF THE NEW AGE | NOVEMBER 1935 == ---- And this came from the Father: “From out the starry heavens comes a strong white light, a pathway, dear child, from heaven to you; a pathway down which your Saviour comes halfway to meet you, if you are willing to go the other half; a pathway that you cannot travel alone. “You must live a clean and honest life before you can find that pathway, a life where you have a childlike faith and trust in Me, your God, and all that I stand for. Along that pathway you will find peace, that glorious peace that floods the soul, that soothes the nerves and tired body into forgetfulness; a peace, dear child, that stills all fears, all pain, until one feels as if one is floating in space. And then you close your physical eyes and open your spiritual eye to the beauty that only your spirit can behold. “Someday it shall be revealed to you. Some night when you look up in the starry heavens, behold! a pathway of light you will see; and coming down that pathway you’ll see an Angel dressed in snowy white garments, who will take you by the hand and lead you on to eternity. Fear not, My child, the end is not yet, but ’tis only your reward for your faith in Me. My Peace I leave with you. Dwell therein.” ————o———— ==== THE MODERN WORLD ==== THE MODERN world—disillusioned and chaotic—looks for a solution adequate to its disorders. In this age of science, the scientists realize that the command of Nature has been put into man’s hands before he knows how to command himself.” The economists are arriving at the conclusion that their difficulties can be solved by the spiritual betterment of man himself.
