With this new understanding it is now ready to go forward in its soul development through the experiences to be gained in new environments, in contact with different personalities and under perhaps more and perhaps difficult circumstances and conditions. How many, when reaching the end of their sojourn on earth, strongly wish that they might have another chance to live their lives over again, not only to improve on the past mistakes, but to make amends for wrongs committed? Who dare say that a wise and loving God does not give them that chance? —————— “FOR THE last month a friend, who passed out of the flesh about a year ago, has been near me—in consciousness—and has told me she is coming back. I asked “when” and “where,” and she said, “now—to M—.” “I have seen M— and she is two months pregnant, and was desperate to get out of it, having had eight births and three living children now—and just thirty years old, and in hard financial circumstances. “I told her what I knew about it, before she told me all, and I sent her home satisfied.” (From a later letter) “My friend I told you about has found conditions of consciousness wherein she is keenly alive, with memory retained. She told me soon after passing that she was not crossing the “River,” and that she was waiting for someone. I thought perhaps she was waiting for me to join her. Now for more than two months she keeps it in my mind that she is “coming back;” also she said, “a boy.” “She means to stimulate memory in her new instrument during gestation. She has an opportunity that is advantageous; her son-in-law sees much in the astral, and this friend of mine was visible to him standing by the bed one night, and he said, “My dear children.” “Also this friend has always been psychic and has helped her daughter to understand these truths.
