====== The Inner Life ====== == THE HERALD OF THE NEW AGE | DECEMBER 1935 == ---- In other words, the fighting was seen in her “separate” mind only—as well as in the other minds present that were likewise “separate” from the One Mind; but the moment she refused to look at the thought picture of fighting and instead looked only at the other picture she was creating and vitalizing by her ardent desire to help and her deep realization of the truth, and which she knew was in God’s Mind, that moment, that manifestation began to change. Or, to put it in fewer words, when she changed what was in her consciousness, the manifestation had to change. Try to see how this must be so. By so clearly visualizing the truths she was thus stating, she raised her consciousness far above the consciousness of the fighters and of those witnessing them to a realm where there was no fighting; and in so doing she thereby lifted up their consciousness also (“I, if I be lifted up, will draw all men unto me.”), when of course the manifestation of fighting adjusted itself to what was seen in the higher consciousness. There is a very wonderful truth illustrated in this incident, which can be applied to anything that appears by one who similarly “treats” his mind, creates in it a living picture of the truth, and lifts his consciousness to where he actually sees and knows that picture is so. Can you not see that by so doing any adverse, untrue, and unwanted condition seen by the mind can be changed to the true condition existing in Divine Mind—where everything is good, beautiful and perfect? Do you realize that anything in your body, your nature, your home, your dear ones or friends, business or affairs, your community, city, state, country or world that you see in your mind, can be just as easily changed? For the only place anything exists that is less than all good, beautiful and perfect, is in your mind! Therefore, dear Inner Workers, make it a point each day in your meditation hours to convince your mind of the foolishness of carrying around in it any untrue picture, anything that is not in Divine Mind; and many times during the day, as you catch it entertaining or becoming concerned or stirred up about such untrue picture, stop right there and erase it from the consciousness by saying: “No! That has no reality in God’s Mind. Therefore I will not permit it to have any part in my mind or my life.” And mean it. {{ :3512-47.jpg |}} ---- //⥳ [[the_impersonal_work_dec35_2|previous page]] // | // [[the_impersonal_work_dec35_4|next page]] ⥴ //
