AS A result of the “Special Letter” pertaining to the night of September 15-16th sent to all Inner Workers, many unusual experiences of an inner nature have been reported to us.

Some of the experiences were very interesting, showing the state of consciousness of the ones reporting them, and some were most significant in that they proved that the writers went through a real initiation at the time. Yet all seemed to be more interested in the experiences themselves and what took place as it appeared to them, than about the inner meaning of it all and its spiritual import.

We intend herein, therefore, to show just what the entrance into the King’s Chamber signifies and how it affects spiritually those who consciously make that entrance. We say “consciously,” for only those who entered consciously, or who are conscious that they have entered, are of course aware of any change, from an outer standpoint.

You were told in the two Pyramid articles in the May and September issues, that the King’s Chamber corresponds to the “Secret Place of the Most High,” or to the “Abiding Place of the Father.” Which must mean a deep, inner consciousness such as Jesus attained, and which is called the Christ or the Kingdom Consciousness. But we know that that Consciousness was not attained until Jesus underwent His baptism in the Jordan, when the Holy Spirit descended upon Him “as a dove.”

There are those who on the night of September 15-16th partook of that baptism of the Holy Spirit and who were privileged for the first time consciously to enter the Kingdom or the Christ
