BEAUTY is of the Lord,
\\  It attendeth His every word.
\\ Image All-glorious! Thee,
\\  So fair, hast He endowed
\\ With beauty indestructible.
\\  What more rare or precious flower
\\ Could’st thou desire than thine own soul?
\\  Seek beauty fresh from heaven;
\\ Thus shalt thou see thyself
\\  In His own Image—all-beautiful.
\\ Rare and glorious plant of life!
\\  Thou art the fairest of the fair!
\\ No beauty can to thine compare
\\  Son of the Highest.
