ANSWERING your question; naturally you are reaping what you have sown. In other words, whatever you still think to be so, is what is now manifesting. But the moment you truly change your thinking and believing, will what is manifesting begin to change. The trouble with you now is that you have become acquainted with the Law of Right Thinking and living, with what is manifesting begin to change. Can you not see that the only way you can change these conditions is to refuse absolutely to see them in your mind and to believe they are so; and instead to SEE only the things you want to outmanifest and BELIEVE they are manifesting?

Just so long as you carry around in your consciousness the belief that present conditions are so—as you have described them in your letter, they will be so. A great truth, however, is that they are so only in your mind—or in the mental world. When you no longer believe and therefore feed those pictures, and replace them with others that you believe are so, then the latter will have to outmanifest. That is the Law. It all remains with you! Can you not see this? Why refuse then to believe anything you can change in outer appearance by simply changing your beliefs?

IT IS NOT expected that you can at once practice all the wonderful truths in these teachings, but you can persist in your striving until you make yourself do all that you want to do. It is in this way that you grow in spiritual strength and understanding. The only way we grow strong physically is through exercising and thus developing our muscles. In the same way do we build and develop our spiritual faculties. That is why these problems and difficulties are put in our path—so that they can be faced, wrestled with and finally overcome. God is indeed your help and your real strength in your every need, and if you will turn to Him in a perfect faith and trust, He will not fail you.

WE NOTE your recent experience of a financial nature. But this, dear brother, was sent in the nature of testing, or rather a proving of your love and trust in God as the only Source of your Supply. When you have attained to a perfect trust, along with a selfless love for Him, you will find that everything will be arranged for you and you will not have to give any concern whatever to money—it will be provided as naturally as the air you breathe.

Hold fast to this Truth—that you will always be protected and your every need be supplied while working in His Service. For did not our dear Brother, Christ Jesus, promise that our Loving Father knows all our need and will care for them, just as surely as He feeds and clothes the birds of the air and the lilies of the field. All you need to do is to trust Him.
