====== The Inner Life ====== == THE HERALD OF THE NEW AGE | JUNE 1933 == ---- What does this mean? Why is this the Law? And why should it work as it does? Because two great truths are uncovered to those who are worthy and ready wisely to use this Law. These truths are, “Love begets love;” and “Trusting God, or working with the Law, brings rich dividends.” In other words, giving from out the heart in a perfect trust in God as their supply—for God is the Law—connects with and looses a power that always works with and for them. They have found, by thus giving, it actually makes it possible for money—or whatever is given—to pour in and supply them with plenty more. The simple act of such giving to them becomes no more than a turning on the faucet, so that God, as it were, pours through the pipe what will replenish them with all that they need. Can you understand such a trusting—nay, such a knowing; for that is what it becomes? If you can, and will use it, you too will prove the Law, and it will always work with and for you. THIS brings us to that other part of Jesus’ statement, that “from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.” Which can only mean that if one does not have the knowledge of the Law, or does not use his knowledge, he shall have taken away what he has. Does not that explain what has happened perhaps to you and to hundreds of thousands of your fellows? And can you not see that you are now being called upon to use your knowledge, use the truth that you have been studying all these years—if you wish to rise out of the conditions in which “fate” (?)—the Law—has placed you? {{ :6-18.jpg? |}} ---- //⥳ [[the_law_of_supply_4|previous page]] // | // [[the_law_of_supply_6|next page]] ⥴ //
