IN THE September Editorial was published excerpts from a pamphlet issued in June, 1932, under the title of “The New Group of World Workers” by Alice A. Bailey, and it was promised to give the gist of a second pamphlet issued in April, 1934, under the title of “The Next Three Years,” and which follows herewith. Please note that most of the italics are ours, and are to call your attention to points already emphasized in our own articles.

In the first pamphlet the fact of the existence of a divine plan for man and of a Group of Knowers of that plan was set forth. The fact of outstanding significance there presented was the existence of a group of intelligences, living in the world today, who are the pioneers of the human race, and are the custodians of this plan.

This Group of Knowers has been variously characterised by students and thinkers, and may be thought of as a society of Illumined Minds. This society is composed of those beings who have perfected themselves in the art of living, and have thereby attained the necessary wisdom which enables them to work consciously and directly with the mind of God in bringing about the fulfillment of the plan of evolution. They are not the New Group of World Workers above referred to, but they have organized and are now perfecting such a Group composed of those members in the human family who have sensed that plan, and, having accepted its reality, can be used by these more advanced Intelligences to assist in bringing about changes in those thought currents in the world to which all humanity responds, and which therefore control our civilization.

This Group of World Workers remains unorganized and unidentified on the physical plane. It has no name and no place of meeting. It is united subjectively by the inner recognition of its members of the essential unity behind all outward things. The results achieved are due to the influence and wise guidance of the Elder Brothers, whose goal is the lifting of the entire human family, and whose vision is not clouded by the turmoil of the immediate present. The plans of the Great Ones include two specifically determined objectives, which may be stated as follows:
