====== The Inner Life ====== == THE HERALD OF THE NEW AGE | SEPTEMBER 1936 == ---- Three days after I was given this vision, I read in the paper that scientists said there was now in evidence a heavy growth of vegetation on the Moon planet, and one of them declared that the Moon was already inhabited, thus corroborating what had been shown to me in my vision. So real was this great revelation that, after coming back into consciousness, my body was shaking from the suffering I had witnessed, and I was weeping as one passing through a great sorrow. It was difficult to turn my thoughts back to the earth, and to find myself in my room, and when I looked at the clock, my Spirit had been absent from my body in consciousness thirteen hours. It was several weeks before I could relate this revelation without great weeping. NOW WHAT does the Scripture say in corroboration of all this that you have been reading? “I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light. I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly. I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled. I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the Lord, and by His fierce anger.
