Death’s sting;
Self proves a poison and a snare
To stifle Love,
The Only Thing.
O wondrous stream
deep in my heart,
The source
from whence all others spring;
The grace
supreme to me thou art,
For life and death
THE ONLY THING.

I AM the Teacher and lovingly and tenderly I call My Class to order.
It is an old room (my soul) and filled with memories of problems that seemingly were impossible to solve, but My Love ever stood by and shed upon them the Light of Truth and they became blessings.
The benches (my body) are worn and scarred through restless rebellion and disregard for the harmony and beauty of life.
My students (my mind) have learned to love Me and now always listen when I speak, but often still I have to speak sternly and commandingly, even after all their years of training. They never find negative, harmful or untrue forces in the classroom unless they bring them in from the outside, which they sometimes do recklessly, sometimes with a sincere desire to place them before Me that I may use them as examples and show their true meaning and use.
More and more, however, My students are trusting Me to supply all needed lessons, and at the threshold of the Classroom they pause and drop everything unworthy they gathered from outside, coming into My Presence free and unencumbered of any desires or claims of self, intent only upon pleasing Me, of waiting upon Me, knowing that I alone AM. —E.
