The Inner Life

These are plain words, but in them lies hidden a clear answer to your question. When you can actually know the truth and can hold it steadfastly in your mind despite what appears in the outer, you will realize the good that has been waiting to manifest itself to you.

WHAT has happened to you has been the experience of many, and if you say that all has been taken away from you so that you have nothing left but your faith in and love of God, that is a glorious thing; for it now gives God a chance in your life—to prove to you that He is your support, your supply and your sufficiency in all things.

This means that you must now turn to Him as such and put all your faith and trust in Him, living every moment of the day in the confident knowing that He will take care of you. Just as surely as you do this will wonderful blessings result.

WE APPRECIATE the conditions you are in for it is the same with many these days. It is for such that these Spiritual teachings are issued. We are trying to show in them the lack of what is manifesting in the world today where so many are involved in the consciousness of lack and limitation.

Do you know why that is? Because there is so much lack and limitation of man’s trust in God, and of thinking that God cares about Him and His purpose for His children.

So many are putting money first and God second, and yet are trying to make themselves believe that they truly love and are serving Him. Instead they are really serving Mammon, by fearing his power and being afraid to put ALL their trust in God, as much as if they were actually aligned on Mammon’s side.

The time has come when we can no longer serve two masters. We must show definitely on which side we stand, and prove it in just such conditions as these. If we truly love God, it must be shown by a perfect trust in Him, a KNOWING that He understands our needs, loves us with an all-including love, and will take care of everything for those who put all their reliance on Him.

THE DWELLER on the Threshold is nothing but the unredeemed qualities of one’s animal nature manifesting in the lower realm of the astral as a kind of entitized selfishness, including in it all those forces that are of its breed, and which seem so horrible when the neophite is brought face to face with them. They are all of his own creation, parts of his own nature, that are thus brought before him so he can see them for what they are and can thereby the better handle them. For he must learn to master them before he can go forward on his Spiritual journey; until he does master them the Dweller will block his further progress.
