The Inner Life

I WAS walking along a path on top of a ridge where it was light and beautiful. I stepped off the path (I do not know why) and immediately began to slip on the dry grass and loose soil and quickly reached the bottom.

I was not hurt and was not afraid, but all was dark and the growth was so thick below me that I could not move. I called for help and immediately I was in a very large barn-like building where I felt at peace and started to go toward the door. Before I reached it, it was opened from the outside by my husband whom I have not seen for 27 years, and with him were the two youngest of our children at the ages they were then—7 and 10 years. We started toward the house before us standing there in the bright sunlight.

I had been trying to get in touch with some one of years ago. Do you think this is an answer?

Your dream was an evidence that you had gotten off the right path and evidently went through the experience in life shown you in the dream. When at the bottom and in a condition where you could no longer do anything of yourself and you called for help, help came—in the form of your husband and children whom you had left 27 years ago.

Can you not see that this dream was to turn you back to the mistake you made at that time, in order perhaps to rectify it and thus get back on the right path. Think this over, dear friend, and ask your loving Father to show you just what He now wants you to do.

I HAD a wonderful experience about three weeks ago. I had retired and had been reading and had turned out the light. I was in a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, when I discovered that I was outside of my physical body—a wonderful sensation, for I seemed to be absolutely free! I wandered around trying to arrange things in the room and to light the light, but I found that I had no control over things, and with that I saw my body lying on the bed. I wondered how I was going to get back into it, and as a slight fear came over me I found myself inside again.

I shall never be afraid again. This is a very poor description of this very important experience to me. The thought of it raises me out of the material to a higher plane.

Your experience of finding yourself out of your body must have indeed been an illuminating one for you. If it has freed you from fear of dying, it has accomplished its purpose, and you may be sure that was the purpose intended, to make you know that whatever is needed will be shown you, even as was this experience.

Do not seek to get out of your body again, but just leave that to your own Divine Self, knowing that whatever is needed will be shown you, even as was this experience.
