Many of such are self-deceived; most are hypnotized into believing that what they are doing is right and helpful; but it only takes one who understands the real situation to see how self is in control and is subtly being fed by sinister forces everything that satisfies that love of the mysterious, until its will is so weakened that it could not free itself if it would. Such are the same as spiritually dead for this lifetime.
+We need hardly repeat that the one surest guide is the Higher Self, to Whom every man should learn to turn when seeking knowledge of such things. Its Voice will always speak and point the right way, even as it did for our friend, and will always enable the earnest seeker to discriminate between the true and the false teacher, either in the inner or outer realms of being. When one is ready, just the teacher needed at the time will be brought by the Higher Self, Who knows your every need and from the beginning has wisely guided you to where you are and what you are today.
