after a long and terrible fight attain full control of their minds once more. But we would save everyone in any way interested in or intrigued by psychic experiments from such possible suffering.

We know there are those who have engaged in such practices for a long time. But we know also with whom they are leagued and the penalty they will have to pay when they sincerely try to break away from such influence. Many of such are self-deceived; most are hypnotized into believing that what they are doing is right and helpful; but it only takes one who understands the real situation to see how self is in control and is subtly being fed by sinister forces everything that satisfies that love of the mysterious, until its will is so weakened that it could not free itself if it would. Such are the same as spiritually dead for this lifetime.

We need hardly repeat that the one surest guide is the Higher Self, to Whom every man should learn to turn when seeking knowledge of such things. Its Voice will always speak and point the right way, even as it did for our friend, and will always enable the earnest seeker to discriminate between the true and the false teacher, either in the inner or outer realms of being. When one is ready, just the teacher needed at the time will be brought by the Higher Self, Who knows your every need and from the beginning has wisely guided you to where you are and what you are today.

The fact that our friend was able to rise in consciousness outside of her human self, proves that the I AM, her Higher or True Self, was always in evidence waiting for opportunities to teach her mortal mind the one and only true way. He also taught her that through meeting and conquering these temptations of her psychic nature she gained the mental strength and spiritual power to become a capable instrument for His use.—THE EDITOR.
