+Now let us assume that in the soul realms there are many earnest students and investigators, the same as there are here, and that in the course of their studies some have learned that contact with those of earth can be made by meeting certain conditions and obeying certain laws. They have found that by strong desire and exerting their wills they can impress certain types of individuals—those called psychic, or extra sensitive—so that their minds receive impulses and they act upon them as if of their own volition. Likewise some have learned that by strong imagination and will-power they can control the arm of such individuals and use it, as if it were their own, especially if such can be induced to sit expecting it to be so used.
