The Inner Life

THIS year Easter brings with it what will prove to be the most important event in the lives of hundreds of followers of Christ.

For such followers Easter is always the most significant time of the year, because at each Easter celebration successful candidates for Discipleship and for the Christ Brotherhood are admitted into their respective Orders and into the Great Army of Light under the leadership of our Lord and Master Jesus Christ.

We will speak first of those Disciples who have been accepted into the Great Company. What does this signify? Acceptance means that they have passed certain prescribed tests as followers of Christ, have acknowledged Him as the Representative of the Father, and have shown that He is first and supreme in their hearts, that He rules in their consciousness, and that they desire only to serve Him. It means that they recognize no other Teacher
