at my home in Montana, and I would gladly let you examine them if they were available.) There was never a day I did not use the gift in my newspaper work.
I have had short stories in nationally known magazines, also have written many feature articles; and I entered the newspaper game without a day’s experience, and “made good” alongside of college trained men. I attribute it to Psychometry, if you wish to call it that—but now I know I have been simply trying to contact the Christ within, and he has been teaching and using me.
I am here alone on a 1600 acre stock ranch; taking care of hundreds of head of cattle—with no experience. One of the best stockmen dropped in this morning to visit a moment. I spend from that time to 5 o’clock, and then from 7 to 8:30, when I retire.
Nothing heroic. I could not live any other way. These are the only hours that count—in my day life; of course, the night hours—that is the time we truly live. I firmly believe (and it is my own belief) that this life is just a drama—that every night
