Let this statement be a guiding light. “Love is all-sufficient of Itself.” Even the mind of the mortal which is still bound in Time has the refuge of Faith and Patience. I am here to urge the practice of the latter.

Consider a pyramid. When it rests on its huge base, the evenly distributed weight is easily borne by the soil whereon it rests. But let it be turned upside down and the heavy base concentrates its weight upon its point, and it naturally will sink into the ground or topple over on its side. When the mortal abandons the self body and takes on the body of humanity, it is like reversing a pyramid. The weight of the huge structure is suddenly focused upon the tiny point of the unprepared human mind, and unable to endure the pressure, it can only call for assistance on the Spirit that pervades the Whole.

Its first steps are Faith and Patience, and through these it comes to the final understanding of Love, which is the only perfect measure of Relativity. Then the pyramid rights itself and the little mind, instead of being transfixed by the apex, itself becomes the apex, the crowning and finishing stone. That is salvation for him who has put his hand to the plow.

NOW TO the real purpose of my visit. All I have said so far is only to impress you more vividly with what follows. Employ some of that divine Relativity to what I will say now.
