Because of my long services in banks on earth I have heavy karmic adjustments still to make. Men, whom my former ideas of finance have misled, I must convert to a true understanding of money, and of that understanding may come the symbol which I can utilize as the medium I am after. Nor am I reluctant to tell you that I am not yet clear as to what form that medium will assume, but I have assurance from Higher Sources that sufficient understanding among mortals will bring it into view. When mortals, even the best of them, think of money, they usually picture it in units or in groups of units, each one with a meaning, existence and activity of its own. They think of separate fortunes, separate credits, separate currency issues, separate dollars. And with this come thoughts of separate powers, separate governments, separate valuations, and finally separate human wills and separate human ownerships. And what follows is the mad scramble for separate personal possession and control. Then appears that lack of unity that manifests as want and poverty, and side by side with them the inertia of swollen fortunes and the long train of sin and suffering in their wake.
