Money is not separated into units. It does not consist of separate bodies of force. It is ONE. It can not be confined in mental or material shapes; it is the medium of forms and shapes, a pervading, interpenetrating, omnipresent Medium, out of which forms of supply are fashioned, but which in Itself is never absent, separated or congested. On the Plateau money is a condensation immediately available for any supply, but is itself always invisible. That is why you do not see the money on the Plateau; but it is ever present just the same.

Our present popular conception of ether, faulty though it be, may help you to grasp what I am trying to convey. You can in a way conceive of ether condensing into forms but you can not by any stretch of imagination conceive of ether as being anywhere absent or anywhere congested. Think of money as that kind of a medium and associate with the word medium its peculiar, pervading, interpenetrating, omnipresent, ever available nature, which all true mediums possess; and above all, remember that it is always ONE. It is never separate in forms or differentiated in powers and functions, no matter how many forms, powers, or functions it utilizes.
