The Inner Life

WE note the problem facing you in your past experience and that you have read The Way Out and The Way Beyond, the reading of which inspired you to write to us for help.

Dear friend, for just such problems as yours these little books were written, and the solution of your problem lies in studying and applying the instructions therein. But the solution cannot manifest until you have made yourself ready and so plainly shown in both The Way Out and The Way Beyond—and that is your part. The Kingdom cannot be gained by merely asking for it; one has to win one’s way there, and the path is strewn with obstacles of all kinds such as the problems now facing you.

Problems are given us for one purpose only, to be met and conquered. By so doing we gain the Spiritual strength and understanding needed.

WE are so sorry to learn of the seeming failure to handle the situation with your husband and daughter as you had hoped.

But if you really did your best, then cease regretting what is past and place the whole matter into your Loving Father’s hands knowing that He in you, and in them, will take care of everything. Your truly knowing this will adjust everything in perfect harmony. So surrender it all to Him. Be unconcerned about how far you have traveled or any results of past mistakes. Instead be determined from now on to listen only to the Loving Voice within and to be guided by It. The God within you is always in charge, knows what He is doing, and puts you through every experience needed to unfold all of His qualities in you, for His unhindered use.

YES, there are many masters, but only one real Master as Jesus said—the one in the heart of every man, the Light which lighteth him, even the Christ. That you may know Him as He is, read carefully the article in the April INNER LIFE Magazine entitled “The Word Made Flesh.” It will bring a new light and a new understanding to you.

What matters is who is the personality through which is given forth the teachings of the Sun Center? What you love is the truth in them, and it is your soul that loves them and causes your mind to become interested. Surely from THE IMPERSONAL LIFE you have learned that these personalities of ours are nothing, and that the Real Selves of each other we never see with our mortal eyes. So even were you to see or know the one writing this letter you would not be any better off.
