Each day at 12 o’clock noon, we take the names of those asking for such help in the Silence of the Spirit, and “Speak the Word” for them. Many hundreds have testified to receiving the blessings of such ministry.

MANY earnest students are asking the question, why their minds do not surrender all to God. The only answer is that they still hold on to some wrong beliefs, such as that they have to go through these experiences to learn the truth, or that they are separate and different from the God-Life within them, or that poverty and lack are real, or that one cannot help but doubt and worry over one’s condition. So long as any of these negative, contrary, or destructive beliefs still are entertained in the mind, how can they expect the manifestation to be other than what they believe?

Think this over, dear friend, and try to see that these things that you express in your letter exist only in your mind, because they do not exist in God’s Mind, Who sees only the good and perfect of everything; which means He sees you in the place where you were put in the beginning where you fit perfectly and are doing just what was planned for you then. The law works for you the same as for everyone—what you see and believe to be so in your mind, is what is manifesting now. But when you definitely cleanse that wrong belief from your mind and replace it with a firmly-held picture of what will make you happy, the manifestation must change.

What difference does it make whether you worry about today’s or tomorrow’s troubles, and what good does the worrying do you? It only makes it harder for you and for your wife, who feels it react upon her. Not until your mind is wide open and undisturbed by doubt or worry and is fixed upon God in a simple, childlike, perfect love and trust, can it be possible for the good He has waiting to deliver to you to come through into manifestation. We know how hard that seems for you to prove, but you will have to prove it, for it is the only way.

WE are very happy to learn of the change that has come to your son John, Just know that it is really not a change in him, but in what you saw in him in your mind; for John in his true nature has always been as you now see him. Therefore, when you remove your doubts, fear, and wondering if it will continue.

When you can convince your mind that you are now seeing the real John, and that the other is only a wrong belief of your human mind—and you refuse to see it any longer, praising and thanking God for enabling you now to see the truth, you will find that more and more wonders will show themselves to you in John’s nature. For you will see that he is a beautiful and remarkable soul.
