Yes, we believe that when a man and woman are married they should be true to each other for always. But if one or the other is not true, it absolves the other from their marriage vows. But we know that when they are to be separated by the higher law and they are no longer to live together, they will be lifted apart by the one committing the sin taking the step to free him or herself. Therefore, until that is done you are both rightly held by man’s law. But the law imposed upon you by your Higher Self is to do only what God wants you to do, being concerned with nothing else than that you are pleasing Him.

Forget about wanting to find your true mate. Your true mate exists not in the flesh but in the Beloved Who is your Higher Self in Spirit. If you know your husband loves you, then hold to that and see only the fine and good in him, despite anything that appears, and you will find that when you thus release him, he will feel free to come back to you.

ABOUT what is bothering you—that God within you is responsible for all things that you think, say or do.

Do you believe that God is All in all? Then He must be all that you are and all that everyone is. If so, then how can you or anyone do anything that He does not do? You cannot get away from this fact.

Then what about the things that are wrong and evil—or rather what men think are wrong and evil?

If God is All in all, then even the things that men think are evil must also be of God and must not be evil—because God can not think, see or know evil. What then is the explanation? Has it ever occurred to you that what you and other men think is evil may not be evil to God?

How can that be, you ask. Surely men know evil from good. But do they? We say no, for back of all part of everything that man calls evil must be the good, or God Who is in all. God being in all—not in just the good, must be there, even if men cannot see Him and the good He is expressing; for He is ever expressing Himself only—some quality of good in everyone of His creations.

The only explanation is that because man has not learned to look for and to know God, he has not learned to see and know good, and so what he sees that he does not like or that he does not understand he calls wrong or evil. And is this not because he looks only at the “appearance” of things, the outer surface, and does not seek to know the inner cause that gives them expression?
