BECAUSE of our living in the “last days,” referred to in our previous editorial, we feel deeply the necessity of cautioning all earnest seekers of Truth to watch and pray constantly from now on to the “end.” For we are in the midst of all kinds of devious trials, temptations and testings, such as will tax even the wisest to keep from stumbling, if not falling, on their Way to the Kingdom.

One of the most subtle tests is being brought to many these days through the various occult orders and fraternities that advertise or offer through the mails a short cut to adeptship and masterhood, or instruction how to develop psychic powers or unfold spiritual faculties that will open students to the invisible world and connect them with a Master or Teacher there.

In view of what we have printed in these pages about the “new group of world workers” that is now forming, composed of those who are able to work subjectively with each other and with the Elder Brothers of the race, it cannot be impressed too strongly upon the minds of all readers that this does not and
