that body, because of the interest she felt and her evidently “seeing” herself entering the body as suggested by her Teacher, she immediately found herself in it. It was just as if she had unconsciously slipped into a new gown, although the whole body with the clothes on served as her “garment.” Her interest in feeling herself in this body made her aware of the imperfect toe and caused her to do the other things told her to do by her Teacher.

Now this body may have been and probably was the etheric double of a dead body ready for burial as described, and was used for this instruction, rather than a live body in which a soul was already housed, as an easier means of illustration in the teaching of a great truth.

That truth is, we are just where we think, see and feel we are. In other words, we are where our consciousness is. On the inner planes of being this is especially true, for there we are unconfined in a heavy, material-body consciousness in which we think and feel that we have to walk or transport our physical bodies to get anywhere, or where if we desire anything we have to wait until it is constructed, or until we can buy it, go after it, or have it brought to us.

There all we have to do is to see and feel ourselves in a particular place, or see and feel ourselves possessing and enjoying anything we desire, and instantly we are there or possess and enjoy that thing.

If we should say that all that prevents our being able to do this on the physical plane is our inability to see and feel it with sufficient clearness and intensity, and that if we could do exactly as is done there knowing the results would be the same, those results would actually have to follow,—we know very few could accept it as truth.
