found in the subway station just when I so wanted to ride home in a taxi; the four grand pianos which at various times He brought to me—oh so many sweetnesses! But I have found that He never gives me more than my day’s supply, in order to save me from the evil of “trusting in certain riches,” and of strengthening my faith in Him.

If I create anything for myself, it will be greater faith and mightier love. But I shall create for you—The Sun Center. I shall see you as the risen Christ. I still can’t see how there can be more than one Manifest Christ.

Who then are the Elect? I am led to ask. Are they our own Divine Selves with whom our Heaven will be peopled? Father, Mother, brothers, friends? All the great ones and heroes composing whom we love? That will be revealed too.

By all the signs of the times, the Great Day is near—at our very doors. Every prophecy has been fulfilled. The upheavals of earth are but the outer expression of the last battle within ourselves between the forces of light and of darkness.

I have known since a child that I would never go through the experience of death. I knew by some force inside of me that “a thousand shall fall at thy right hand, and ten thousand at thy left, but it shall not come nigh thee.”

And it will not. The last days have come. And I see too, however cruel it might have seemed, why my precious father had to go. Can’t you see the symbolism of it? He had a hemorrhage of the head—my own self in John the Baptist stage—the last of the mortal lineage.

With his passing, the mortal father died to give place to the Heavenly. In the same way I had to lose all the others, that we may be One in Christ. How beautiful Truth is! And what glories lie before us, to be One with Christ in God!

Now I know why the word “One” has always thrilled me. I only need utter that word, and I am in a place of indescribable peace. Number is a monstrous fallacy, and motion is number in action. Knowing this, feeling it, we can no longer say prayers. We can no longer even love God! We are Love. To love implies two, the giver and the receiver. But we are only vouchsafed a glimpse into that transcendent state. There is still much to be done before we enter the Kingdom, nevermore to leave it.
