If we should tell you that it is not a case of nerves or anything that is in the boy that causes all the accidents, troubles and ills, but that they are due to the thought pictures carried around by his mother in her consciousness, and fed by her fears for the boy that she allows to come in and make her nervous, anxious and worried about him,—try to understand and get the meaning we intend for you. These thought pictures have to outmanifest in some manner, and the boy evidently being very sensitive and your mind being on him all the time, you unconsciously influence him with your worries and fears so that these pictures are transferred to his subconsciousness and sooner or later outmanifest in him physically just as you imagined them. IN REGARD to your little boy. We would say to our Loving Father, “Dear Father, You have told us that You know all about the hard conditions we are facing, and that therefore I need not be anxious about them; that if I seek first the Kingdom, or try to abide in Your consciousness, You will take care of everything. I have tried my way and seemingly have done all I can, but I have come to the end of my resources; and now I am ready to let go and give You an opportunity to prove what You can do. Therefore, Father, I place it all in Your hands, and I will try no longer to interfere with my worried, anxious, fearful thoughts, and will take You at Your word and trust You implicitly. I believe You can do anything for me, if I get out of the way.
