the mind, and is now entering an era in which man will work with his mind directed by his soul. In other words, man in this era will get his guidance and direction, as well as his supply, from within himself—from his soul, as a result of soul experience; instead of from the limited knowledge gained from the experience of the outer mind that believes its supply can come only from money and jobs. This unfoldment has taken place within the soul consciousness of every person who is now seemingly out of employment, even if in his mind he does not understand this; and it means that he is one of the fortunate ones who has learned his lesson—when his soul has awakened, which it soon will from his sufferings and deprivations—and will be ready to progress. The key, then, my boy, to your next step, as one of such, lies right before you. I wonder if you can see it?”

Ned was silent for quite a time, as if lining up all the ideas in his mind before speaking, and when he answered his excitement was gone and he said, soberly:

“I have only a hazy idea of what you mean by the soul, but I think I get that you mean that the law is working for me and for all humanity, and that by trusting in the law and always trying to work with it, everything I need will be given me?”

“Yes, that is just what I wanted you to see,” the Doctor replied. “The law is always working for you and will always take care of everything, especially when you fully realize this, trust it absolutely and thereby work with the law. In other words, when you stop worrying and fearing about the future, thinking that you are responsible and must do something, and instead trust the law and the universal process, which most men call God, or His Will, thus linking your mind and will with the Universal Mind
