The Inner Life

God’s body, God being the All Consciousness, would have to be His perfect Idea of a body—in which His Consciousness, or His Holy Spirit, can freely dwell. That, as we have shown you in a previous article, is your Christ body, deep within your mind’s and your soul’s consciousness, and which is ever waiting to push forth into expression in your mind, when it can get rid of that old thought-picture of a body and all of its mortal beliefs concerning it.

This can come only by your mind’s knowing the truth, which we are now showing it. Therefore we urge you to stay with these words until their truth sinks into your sub-consciousness or in other words, hold it in your mind’s consciousness until it outmanifests.

NOW WE will try to show you how you may see God in your real body. Do you remember being shown in the second Mind article, in the August issue, “how to go within a thought to the truth it hides?” Then take the thought of there being a perfect body within your mind’s thought of its physical body—a perfect body in which the God of you dwells.

Stay with that thought to the exclusion of every thing else. Realize that God is your life. Try to feel your life. No, you cannot feel it with your physical senses; but as you get fully quiet and go within in consciousness, leaving your physical senses behind, as was shown in the June article, if you persist, your mind will gradually become aware of being in another body, much lighter, inner and rarer, which, the clearer the realization of it comes, will bring with it a higher sense of actuality and freedom from all limitations, and with it a wonderful exhilaration and feeling of power, as if all things were possible.

Then as you persist in holding that consciousness—that this is God’s body, that this wonderful exhilaration and freedom you now feel is God’s Life—realize that that Life is actually God’s Love, and that that warm thrill that comes with this thought is that Love making itself known to you; and that because God’s present expression of Himself is Love, you are now actually feeling and knowing God within you.

Hold to this thought, until you feel His Love filling and thrilling you, pouring forth and flooding your consciousness with its wondrous warmth, and radiating from you as a great light; and
