THERE are some of earth who are entering into the first death. And instead of being caught up in the arms of angelic attendants and borne away, as was formerly the case with the dying, they are left close to the body. For death itself is commencing to be no more, and the old methods of ministration at decease are being broken and will continue to be broken to the end.

There is no more and no longer an intermediate state or an organized society for those departed spirits, but only a state of waiting in which they pass their time, drawing themselves more and more into the body of the race, from whose outward form they have been taken.

The central power of the race is now in its general ultimate body. Therefore those who visibly decease draw into the body of the race again; that is, into the sphere of the body, and they are held in that sphere uniformly. Hence a class of intermediate spirits is being felt by many.

THIS could explain the growing experience of many in contacting those who have passed from the material to the spiritual. As formerly they passed into the astral world where communication was more difficult, they are now left close to earth, and are all about us; even if they are invisible to those whose vibrations are not attuned to those of the departed ones. Note that “death is commencing to be no more,” evidently the beginning of the preparation for the New Age.
