The Inner Life

THE HERALD OF THE NEW AGE | MARCH 1936

We hope as many as possible will arrange to attend one or more of the Classes, advising us in advance which ones they choose.

As before there will be no charge, it being left to the hearts of those attending to tell them what to do for the Work in return.

BEHOLD THE DOOR

By S. B.

THIS too must pass—
And in that silence vast, profound,
Where enters naught of sight or sound,
Thou shalt commune with God.
No brother’s love, nor Angel’s hand
Can open the door—they must but stand
To join the triumph song.

He leadeth on—
Thou art not lost or all alone.
By Him each secret thought is known,
Thy motives all revealed.
Aspiring, shouldst thou fail or fall,
He lifteth up—canst thou recall
Thy faith returning void?

Then falter not!
For deep within the Holy Place
He waits to meet thee face to face,
Unfettered, deathless, free.
Behold the door! How many knock!
Dost thou not yearn to feed His flock?—
For service is the key.

Immortal Love—
Within thy heart Its glory beams
Its Presence: Light in darkness gleams
In never ending rays.
Released, It is the Kingdom Come
On earth. Of all It is the sum—
For Love Divine is God.
