at the Open Tomb. Very few as yet are able to understand the deep significance of that meeting, even as they are unable to understand the true significance of the King’s Chamber. But we hope in the months to come lead many into that understanding.

Unless or until the Christ has been born in us there is no hope of such understanding, for it is He that gives us true understanding of all things. Hence it behooves us to know if He has come to us and is now in evidence in our lives.

How may you know? In one way only. Do you feel a strong, insistent urge to help your fellowmen? Are you aware of a selfless, wholly impersonal love in your heart, that concerns itself not at all about who it is that needs help, your one desire being to render help whenever you are shown the need? If so, that is the Christ in you urging it and showing how you may serve Him.

Who—what is He? He is your own Divine Self, a Son of God, God’s Holy Spirit in you, come to make His abode in your heart and to take charge of your life, as soon as He can get your outer mind fully to recognize and surrender to Him.

In the meantime, until the complete surrender, He is teaching the outer you His truths, showing you His way, giving you more and more evidence of His Love and His Power to do all things for you as you keep self out of the way and allow Him.

If you do not as yet feel such a loving Presence in your heart, and you earnestly wish to feel It, then in fervent, sincere prayer invite your Divine Self to enter and take possession. He will not only hear but He inspires such a desire, and will gladly respond. For you, when He comes, it will be the happiest Christmas of your life.

All those in whom these words inspire a deep yearning to feel such a birth and to know the joy of the Christ Presence, we urge that they follow faithfully the directions on the back cover page of this Magazine; and that from now on until Christmas they wait upon the Lord every moment of the day, doing everything solely to please Him (or what they believe is Christ or God), concerned not at all about results, about the outer world or about tomorrow, but with mind and heart ever fixed on Him in
