The Inner Life

proven by all who are able to meet the conditions and obey the laws of the Inner Life. These conditions and laws we propose to make so plain that all who are ready and sufficiently advanced spiritually can prove them—if they will make the necessary efforts required. Which means that these efforts must be determined, one-pointed and persistent, and that they must consist of a living the life here and now by those who wish to be a part of the New Age, which is to be an Age of Loving Cooperation—or of Brotherhood.

The Inner Life, as we have shown, is the life lived by the souls of men, in the soul realm of being. Even as there are good, bad and indifferent men in the outer world, so are there souls good, bad or indifferent in the inner world. But the Real World, or the Realm of Reality, where everyone and everything are good and perfect and all souls are living according to their highest ideals and enjoying the fruits of such living, is naturally far apart in consciousness from the outer world of materiality and those soul realms in any way related to it, where all but a comparatively few are seeking only for self, thinking only of getting and enriching self at the expense of their fellows, and who are concerned not at all about any other life than one where self can live and enjoy.

This Real World is commonly called the Kingdom of Heaven and it is promised that it will “descend” and be the actual life of the New Age. To many that seems impossible, on looking about them and seeing what is manifesting in the world today. But those who have clearer sight can plainly see the breaking up and dissolving of the Old Order and its unnatural conditions—unnatural because such are not the heritage intended for His children by a loving, rich and all powerful parent, as is
