man from out of his soul nature, and wholly guided from there by his Higher Self, a Son of God, to begin now his work of the redemption of his body—even as his soul had already been redeemed—and which must be accomplished before his final union with his Father-in-Heaven.

“And remember, his body consciousness was still a phase of his soul consciousness, even as his soul consciousness was a part of the consciousness of his Higher Self—a Son of God, Who gave them all birth originally. Therefore not until all are redeemed, and along with them the consciousness of all human beings on earth and of the earth itself, will the work and mission given to the Sons of God on this planet be finished.”

Adam, it can be seen from the above, represents and sym- bolizes the first reborn souls of the race, and the second chapter of Genesis shows how all souls after their rebirth, after being brought into the Garden of Eden, have then to be sent forth to redeem their body or outer consciousness and the animal forces comprising it. At the beginning of the race to do this the soul had to extend its consciousness into the body into a brain mind, in order to direct this work of redemption. When all these forces are lifted up or drawn inward and back into the soul’s consciousness, mind and soul will then be reunited and be as one again.

It is to help all Impersonal students who are nearing this stage of unfoldment that these teachings are now given out.

THIS gives you a picture of just what is man and woman, or what is the male and female parts of man, viewed in their original and natural state from the standpoint of pure consciousness, not considering their outer forms. This has to be carefully studied in order to come to a true understanding of what is sex.

In this symbolic story of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, the birth of Eve, the temptation of the Serpent, their listening to him, and their being sent from the Garden, is hidden the full explanation of the meaning and purpose of sex.
