The Inner Life

THE HERALD OF THE NEW AGE | NOVEMBER 1936

intuition is awake, who need to learn how always to know and heed its voice, and who have to be taught from a higher plane of consciousness the deeper things of the Spirit.

Then there are many of the older students of the Impersonal teachings who are able to retire into their inner or soul consciousness when receiving truly spiritual teachings, and who therefore can be taught from the soul and even the Christ Consciousness, and are also fully understand all that is taught from the lower planes and the purpose of it. They are able to see from “above” in the clear light of Spirit, and remember the confused state of their minds when they were previously involved in those lower states of consciousness. Our chief aim in the Magazine is to give forth His teachings and to make their truths so clear that every reader will receive food his soul needs and will know it is the true Bread of Life.

But with all our pointing out the seeming evils of the day, we always show they exist only in men’s minds—not in reality or in
