important teaching on the soul or the inner life that helps to make their reality stand out more clearly, we gladly quote from it; even as we do from any psychic experience, vision or dream that carries in it a helpful lesson.

IT SEEMS to be quite difficult to please all students, which is really what we are trying to do; at least we are trying to present to them the truth in such a way that no matter what their particular school of thought they will recognize and be helped by it.

For instance, we have had one or two speak of our “leaning” toward H. P. Blavatsky’s teachings because of our having quoted from several of her books and recommended her “Voice of the Silence,” in our Book Review department. While more than a few have written requesting more of our interpretations of her writings, such as given in a recent issue.

Two or three have spoken of the occult tendency of our writings, asking if we cannot keep them more of a spiritual nature. While almost every mail brings happy appreciation from someone of the help received from these same “occult” articles.

The fact is, there has been nothing printed in the Magazine that is more deeply occult than is the present series of articles on “The Inner World of the Mind,” and nothing at the same time is more truly spiritual; and the help that will be received by those truly studying them will be simply incalculable. And we might say that the next greatest help reported is from the soul experiences related, and our explanations and comments accompanying them.

Therefore it looks as if we will have to pursue our policy of giving our readers what we consider to be the most needed information at this time, and the most helpful, and at the same time continuing to give pure truth in all cases, so that every reader will admit it is such.

We have tried to make the Magazine one that all real thinkers will appreciate and love, knowing that there are such thinkers on all stages of the Path. Those who are advanced students must recognize this and remember that it was the different teachings, movements and religions they encountered on their journey that helped them to reach the understanding they now have.
