could come to them only while they were together in group consecration.

But once more together as One, they drew the Master to them (“Where two or three are come together in My Name, there am I in their midst”), though He was unseen, except by John. And by Him they were renewed in strength, re-inspired by the old vision, and were ready again to face the world as true servants of the Christ.

Such benefits are felt by all disciples today, who in their group are wholly dedicated to the Christ for His use.

GETHSEMANE

All those who journey, soon or late,
Must pass within the garden gate;
Must kneel alone in darkness there,
And battle with some fierce despair.
God pity those who cannot say:
“Not mine but thine,” who only pray:
“Let this cup pass,” and cannot see
The purpose in Gethsemane.
