The Inner Life
THE HERALD OF THE NEW AGE | JUNE 1934
fragrance, and reflect in my waters their graceful shadows. Nor was my supply diminished, for hidden springs leaped up ever to increase my volume; the tuneful birds, and whispering winds sang me their message of harmony and peace.
As wider, and deeper I grew, softer became my murmurings, and listening, did I know in this softness the song of my soul, and the soul of the waters.
Now, with the new joy, do I give myself to all who approach my borders; I lavish my kisses alike on the verdure of my brink and the stones at my bed, for the song of my soul speaks ever of one purpose, and one life, pulsing through all, from starry heights, to depths unfathomed; and too, of the great infinite ocean, waiting to clasp me in loving embrace, where untrammelled waves play glad and free, from the shores of time, to the golden strand of eternity!

GOD WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU
God will take care of you, be not afraid:
He is your safeguard thro’ sunshine and shade:
Tenderly watching and keeping His own,
He will not leave you to wander alone.
God will take care of you thro’ all the day,
Shielding your footsteps, directing your way;
He is your Shepherd, Protector and Guide,
Leading His children where still waters glide.
God will take care of you; He is your Life,
Strength in your weakness, Peace in the strife,
Healing your sickness, forgiving your sin,
His is the Love that enfolds you within.
God will take care of you; on Him depend;
Oh, what a Father, Redeemer and Friend!
He will answer whenever you call;
God will take care of you, trust Him for all.
