Therefore, remember “soul or psychic force” is but the one force—“spirit force”—used for selfish purposes; that is, for the benefit of self, without regard to God’s wishes in the matter.
The only way to be sure you are doing what God would have you do is to wait upon Him every moment of the day, thinking not of tomorrow or yesterday, concerned only that you are pleasing Him, keeping your mind ever turned to Him in a simple, childlike, perfect love and trust, a KNOWING that He will take care of everything.
If you did this, there will be no right or wrong to consider; you will know instantly God’s way for you, for there will be no other way. Your mind being ever turned to Him, it is always wide open for His thoughts and His will to direct you and to provide you for every need—and before the need is felt. For a need is like a vacuum; like the air, God’s Consciousness immediately, when the mind is turned to Him, rushes in and supplies and fills out that need, making the mind’s consciousness one with His Consciousness in perfect peace and content.

HIS LAMP
“Ye are the light of the world”
HIS lamp am I,
To shine where He shall say;
And lamps are not for sunny rooms,
Nor for the light of day;
But for dark places of the earth,
Where shame and wrong and crime have birth,
Or for the murky twilight gray,
Where wandering sheep have gone astray,
Or where the lamp of faith grows dim,
And souls are groping after Him.
And as sometimes a flame we find,
Clear-shining, through the night,
So dark we cannot see the lamp—
But only see the light.
So may I shine, His love the flame,
That men may glorify His Name.
