truth and righteousness, each ever working in harmony with his fellows, is a beautiful and loving force and will accomplish mighty things in the world. But when men waste their portion of this life force in war, in the wanton destruction of their fellows, it causes a stench that will befoul all those who are left and will bring horror and desolation into their lives.

It is in such visions as the above that many of God’s faithful ones are being shown what portends in the days ahead, if men persist in listening to and obeying the voices of self, instead of heeding the quiet loving voice within ever seeking to point them the way of Harmony and Peace.

THERE used to be a religious sect called the “Soul-sleepers.” They believed the soul went into a hole in the ground and slept for a few thousands or millions of years and then woke up on Resurrection Day.”

But your soul is the one thing about you that never sleeps. It is forever awake pleading with you, beseeching you, silently exhorting you to abandon your selfish, crude and inharmonious nature and to open the door of your consciousness to the high vibrations of Truth. And soon or late you will heed this appeal—soon or late your soul will break through the crust of selfishness and indifference and lift your life into a higher stage of evolutionary unfoldment. IN THE stillness of the night watch the Christ Child was born. Great was the awe of them who came to pay homage and respect at the crib of the infant Babe.

Today the Christ is being born in the hearts of many. And even in this day, crowds still pay homage, by the honors they bestow, the tributes to Him, and the gifts they freely give, little knowing that in these acts they are re-enacting the drama of the Wise Men and the Shepherds of old. —E. C. S.
