Know this surely—God is Love! In Love resideth all other qualities, even as in God all things live, move and have their being.

Be still, then, and know—I am God in expression in man! Believe thou this and open thy heart that I may express in thee.

Ye may think they cannot open and therefore cannot express Me—because they know not Love.

Then I must need grow thee more, must put thee in conditions and bring thee experiences, letting thee listen longer to the voice of self and to the enticements of the world, the flesh and the devil. When thou hast learned all that these can teach, and what they cannot supply—freedom, soul happiness and peace, and thou finally turnest to God, then He, through Me, His Spirit in thee, will awaken thee from thy dream of self and enable thee to hear My loving Voice speaking from out thy heart, pointing out His Will and Way for thee.

To thee principally, therefore, I now come, that all who read may know the folly of longer seeking without for that which can be found only within. For know it is I within Who inspire all thy seeking, and what thou feelest is but My urge pointing thee Love’s way; but thy human mind has so long listened to self and its desires that it misconstrues My urge and turns it always to the advantage of self.

The time must soon be when thou must make Me first in thy thoughts, must turn to Me for guidance in all that thou dost. For without Me as Love thou art nothing and canst do nothing that will bring harmony and peace into thy life. But with Me all things are possible, even worldly success. Yea, selfless Love can accomplish anything; few human hearts can stand before it, and in time all will succumb to its power.

Then beloved, seek to know Love. Do not pass it by as mere sentimentality, as some would have ye believe. Study it. Note its effect on thee, and on others. Open thyself to it, and let it rule in thy heart and mind.

But it must be selfless Love; for selfish love is even more harmful and causes more misery than cold intellectuality.

And know, Love is the only way unto Me and unto the Father. Those who wish to know Me can find Me no other
